Awesome people doing awesome things:
A new year generally brings on a sense of inspiration to either try something new, better yourself, or make a more conscious effort to help others. As the year goes on, you may need some additional motivation to stay on your path. I have the immense pleasure of meeting the people below on my journey sp far, and they have some exciting things going on that might give you that boost you need:
Melissa & Jason Bruce, owners of Soul Flo Yoga in Plainfield This wife and husband yoga studio co-owners have started a podcast! As of writing, there are three episodes so far. Topics will vary and not all episodes are yoga related. One episode is even dedicated to trash/waste reduction! Chrissy Sherry, 500-ERYT and Yoga Teacher Trainer This amazing yoga instructor and trainer has started a personal yoga daily challenge for 2019. Each of her posts include either information cues or inspirational/motivational phrases. Please check out her business Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/sunhippyyogapants/?hl=en
Carrie Hickok, owner of Rise Aerial Fitness and Yoga in Joliet Want to feel like a unicorn? Try aerial yoga. Carrie manages to skillfully and safely create a yoga flow with the use of hanging silks. Certain yoga poses are more accessible and can be deepened more safely with the use of the silks. I try to get there once a week. Going upside down, is an absolute blast. Sometimes all you need is to change your point of view. Website: https://www.riseaerialfitness.com/faqs/
Tairi Grace, founder of Grace Holistic Center for Education Tairi manages a unique pre-K through 12th grade school in Yorkville offering a more holistic approach to child development. I have sponsored a couple recent events, and plan on sponsoring more. To read more about this amazing school and consider a donation, visit:http://www.ghcfe.org/
Always feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I look forward to working on you in this new year.
